All of EEAC's programs and services are free. The areas covered include explaining the adoption process, meeting governmental regulations and requirements, the negative effects of institutional care on children, the prevalent medical, emotional, and behavioral issues of children living in orphanages, potential developmental and learning disabilities, the challenges of older child, sibling and special needs adoptions, successful schooling, fostering an adopted child's self-esteem, maintaining a child's culture and heritage, and promoting exceptional and compassionate parenting skills.
EEAC operates twenty-one Internet mailing lists, each operating as a public discussion support group with a different focus and audience. The combined subscription list of these groups is over 5,000 people. Most of these are prospective adopters and/or adoptive parents, but we also welcome subscriptions and participation from adoption professionals, medical professionals, therapists and other interested parties.
We offer the following SERVICES free of charge:
- Our INTERNET MAILING LISTS. We consider subscription to our lists as the single best source for information and support for adopting and adoptive families. If you are interested, you may SUBSCRIBE to any or all on-line. Just go to our Support section.
