Mission Statement Print E-mail
Since the early 1990's the number of children from Eastern Europe being adopted by US citizens has grown from a handful to over 6,000 annually. The media has focused much attention on the stories of some families who have struggled with those adoptions. The message that we hear time and time again is that families are not being adequately prepared during the pre-adoption phase and are not being sufficiently supported during the post-adoption phase. EEAC hopes to help conquer these challenges.

EEAC's purpose is to help develop and improve families' abilities to successfully adopt and parent their children. We do this by providing access to educational and training materials that include books, articles, scientific research, public discussion groups, and self-help networks.

The Eastern European Adoption Coalition, Inc. is a United States 501(C)(3) Charity seeking funds from contributions.
